In the eleventh hour of the 2014 New Years postings of resolutions and wrap-ups, after holiday travel and time with family, I’m finally getting mine done. As we all reflect on best business practices, what we’ve accomplished, and how to grow– I feel both blessed and excited about the year past and the one to come. This months marks two years of my show Tamara Leigh’s TREND ON with the Linked Local Network that airs LIVE every Wed. at 10am on blogtalkradio and I can’t believe it’s gone that fast or how fortunate I’ve been to have conversations each week with over 100 guests thus far. Happy New Year everyone! I am slightly late on this post. This will not be a post about social media predictions for this year or anything of that nature. This will be a bit more personal. I have to say I am not sorry to see 2013 go. I have certainly had worse years, however I would not say that 2013 was a good year for me. It was a year full of lessons, and many struggles, and obstacles. There was also some sadness. I will not go into detail as to what the struggles were about. I will just say it was overall a very difficult year. However, as disappointing as last year was for the most part, I have to say it was one year that provided me with a lot of experience. I had learned a lot from these experiences. When there is pain, there is learning, and there is no going around that. And my plan for 2014 (and beyond) is to apply what I have learned and use the Law of Attraction properly and expect better outcomes. My husband and I were blessed to visit Mexico three times in 2013.  The last visit we finally met Tori and Mike in person.  We had met them online and they were nice enough to ask us to visit them at their home in Pescadero.  After an hour bus ride from Cabo San Lucas, we arrived at the stop in Pescadero.  Following their directions, we walked down the dirt road near the Pemex gas station.  We courageously walked past their neighbor’s barking dogs and rang the bell on the metal gate.  Harley their dog met us.  We spent the afternoon hearing Tori and Mike’s story of moving from Oregon to Mexico 20 years ago.  Now they have a beautiful casita and one they rent out .  He is a local architect and builder .  She creates and sells pottery.  They were untouched by age, happy, and living their dream.  As my husband and I discussed our dreams, Mike wisely said, “If you have an inkling, do it.” What have you...
